San Francisco-based ride hailing giant Lyft has held talks Alphabet Inc. for an investment of around $1 billion, Bloomberg reports.

Citing people familiar with the matter, Bloomberg reports that the billion-dollar injection would likely come from Alphabet’s private equity silo CapitalG or directly from Google itself.

Both Lyft and Mountain View-based Alphabet declined to comment.
